There is a new addition around here that I call ‘Big Brother’.
The Brother MFC-6490CW is the largest printer I’ve ever owned. It sits on my desk and does take a good amount of space, but I’m OK with that.
This all in one multi-functional printer works up to ledger sizer. That’s right 11×17. Prints at 11×17 AND scans at 11×17 also!
I really like having a large printer, but honestly I’ll only take advantage of that occasionally. The scanner though…
Well, now I can scan in my KiDD and GEEZER strips a lot easier than before. Also I draw caricatures on 11×17 paper; now I can scan those in as well! In one shot. No more trying to piece two halves together in Photoshop.
I’m so happy!
