I’ve been struggling a lot with the strip lately and I couldn’t figure out why until this morning.

I drive a school bus and in the morning I have a spot where I’m waiting for the kids about 30-45 minutes. I used to use this time to doodle and think about the upcoming strips that I was working on. For the past couple of months though I’ve been using that time to do laps as part of my weight loss regimen. You can read about it at my Big FAT Blog.

It’s working fine for the weight loss, but not for the comic-strip. The writing has always been the more challenging part for me anyways and now even more so. I think that’s why I’ve had so much trouble the past few weeks, especially on Fridays.

I think I know where to find some time to concentrate on the strip. It’s just making the habit/routine to do it. Until then, my updating might be a bit spotty, but I’ll do my best to stay on track.

The Daily Comics Review normally focuses on newspaper comics, but they made a recent post about a handful of webcomics.

For some weird reason they included KiDDandGEEZER and said some nice things too. Now, I will love them for always and forever… <3 <3 <3

URBAN JUNGLE centers around Zack — the only human in an office full of animals. Literally. Zack was raised by wolves and now works in software development. Sometimes he’s in the office with his co-workers and sometimes he’s at home with his roommate pet. His pet pug thinks he can be a roommate even though he doesn’t pay rent.

This comic is alot of fun even though David allowed me to do a guest strip last week. David is finally moving to the Great State of Texas — because someone has to fill void when Scott Kurtz leaves. Since David needed time packing and such he let me and a few other guys take a shot at his animals. You can skip the one that I did and go read the rest of them.
