100

100

I was a little kid in the 70’s, but I don’t really remember seeing bell-bottoms. However, if you check any sketch books, doodles, or cartoons that I drew back then, you’ll see I drew everyone with bell-bottoms. That can still be seen in my toons nowadays. Just look at the silhouettes of Kidd and Geezer in that last panel. Specifically the ankle area. I think the trauma was too much for me and I blocked the memory of bell-bottoms from my mind.

In other news… This is strip number 100! To celebrate, I’ve redone the site with some new colors and graphics. No major changes. I did include some new banners if anyone wants to link to the strip.

Thanks for reading! See ya in the funny papers!

  1. Bo Lumpkin says:

Everyone wore ‘em okay. I think it must’ve been a law or something but I’m not sure. There are a lot of blank spaces for those of us who were young adults in the 70’s.

  2. David says:

He’s not proud of it now, by I’ll bet back in the 70s he was just swingin’ in those things!

    Congrats on the 100!

  3. George says:

Wow! You could steal puppies with those things!

    Congrats on #100, Frank!
