If you don’t get the joke, then it means you are a normal human; instead of a comic-book geek. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
What you need to know… ‘kcd‘ is the webcomic of Kidd. It’s a webcomic within a webcomic. Cosplay is ‘costume playing’; it’s when you dress up as a character from a comic, movie, or video game and play that role – even though you’re grown up and it’s not halloween. SDCC is the ‘San Diego Comic Con‘ which was held this past weekend. I’m not sure but I think it’s THE BIGGEST comic-con.
All three characters have lots in common. The most recent being the premise of the joke, but that’s not the only thing.
- All three characters died and then traveled through time, returning to life in a different time period. (The basis for this comic.)
- All three were replaced by their sidekicks after their death.
- All three have had others fill their boots as well.
- All three have some of the coolest costumes in comics.
- All three have movies or TV shows (Batman has both).
