Some people are ‘proper’. Mainly our elders.
My grandmother taught me to tear my slice of bread into four small pieces and only butter the small piece I was using when eating diner. I never did like that rule.

I love my grams but every time I was visiting at her house and when we had breakfast I would do like normal and drink the left over cereal milk straight from the bowl. Well Grams thought this was a cardinal sin and made me sit there and drink it from my spoon.. Uggh I hated that
Mine did that with soup.
